Our Impact

Integrating Sudarshan Kriya into Comprehensive Treatment for Substance Use Disorder (SUD).

Sudarshan Kriya offers several benefits for individuals dealing with alcohol use disorder (AUD). These benefits include bodily detoxification, improved emotional regulation, and reduced stress levels. By stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system, Sudarshan Kriya effectively helps manage chronic stress, which is a major contributor to alcohol consumption and relapse.

The breathing techniques involved in Sudarshan Kriya enhance mental clarity, decrease anxiety, and improve emotional control, which can help reduce obsessive behaviors and cravings. Furthermore, this practice supports cardiovascular and respiratory health, contributing to overall physical well-being. It also fosters greater self-awareness and mindfulness, enabling individuals to identify triggers and avoid relapses.

Participating in Sudarshan Kriya sessions also creates a supportive community, which can be invaluable during the recovery process.

What is De-addiction

How we help ?

Substance use disorder (SUD) is a brain condition characterized by frequent relapses. As a result, relapse is more common than rare. Therefore, our primary goal is to prevent substance users from relapsing while guiding them toward recovery. Our protocol includes effective relapse-prevention strategies based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and yogic principles.

A supportive approach over an extended period is essential. Twice a day, a trained instructor will assist former users with their necessary routines of yoga (yogasana), breathing exercises (pranayama), and meditation through The RopeWay, an online follow-up program.

We collaborate with KSHEMA (K S Hegde Medical Academy), particularly its psychiatry department, in our efforts to treat substance abuse.

To support our mission of "whole person recovery," it is crucial to conduct an initial psychiatric assessment, provide appropriate detoxification, and perform post-detox evaluations along with recommendations.
